My feature article for journalism, detailing the powerful story of a WWII survivor. The story not only delves into the torturous aspects of war but also examines this amazing person’s outlook on life.
This story focuses on an average teenager, one who is juggling school work, a social life, and coaching middle school girls’ soccer. Her story is a fun and inspiring one, and serves as an example for a busy teen with a positive attitude.
Based of the popular blog “Humans of New York,” Vida Davarpanah and I asked students of the Oak Park High School what they thought made them stand out from the rest. What we got in return is something both hilarious and extremely representative of the diversity of the Oak Park High School student body.
This was a sound story focusing on the Lighthouse Church in Newbury Park, and its effort, in association with Bank of America, to bring presents to children in foster homes during the Christmas season.
